Fresh Face Masque Recipe

Regular cleansing removes dirt and grime from the surface of the skin but a facial mask will draw impurities from beneath the top layer of the epidermis. It also helps exfoliate dead skin cells and unclog your pores so your toners, moisturisers and serums penetrate and work more effectively.

Face masks are fun and easy to make at home and can be customised to suit your skins needs.

1 tsp spirulina

1 TB honey

1 TB plain yogurt

½ tsp Baking soda

Optional extras:

½ TB ground coffee (for an added exfoliating effect)

¼ tsp cinnamon (for a tingling effect – will increase blood circulation)

Mix all ingredients together thoroughly and keep in fridge. Use within 3 days.
